The device converts color video signal (CVBS) or S-VHS signal to VGA standard. It allows to connect CCTV cameras, SAT receivers, DVD players, VCRs, or any other source of video signal to a standard VGA monitor. In addition, it enables that a computer still may be used, due to pass-through concept of VGA signal path. Selection of the signal is performed by the "Source" switch, which is placed on upper part of the device.

The control panel is also equipped with other switches: POWER, MENU and “UP”, “DOWN” navigational buttons. Brightness, contrast and saturation settings are available in the menu. All information concerning the type of source or change in parameter settings is displayed on screen (OSD). Aside from video signals, it may also be connected audio outputs of the appliances being used.

The converter can cooperate with CRT and LCD monitors. The frequency of output signal can be set at 60 Hz or 75 Hz, there are also available the next resolutions: 640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768.


The main application of the converter is fast and reliable video viewing while performing regular computer work. The converter is an external device working independently and is installed between a computer and its monitor. It does not require any software, allowing cooperation even with sealed computers.
